Explaining the Unexplained

A Poem

Why oh why...you ask yourself did your little child have to perish,
why did God take her so soon, something you truly did cherish?
And why did that kindly old man enjoying a walk in the snow
get shot by some kids -just for fun- was it really his time to go?

And the husbands and wives who died, leaving their mates so alone,
so much grief that we all have to suffer and it's oh --so hard to condone.
Some people believe that fate rules our lives and not what we really wish
but is that all there is to living --just a case of hit and miss?

The Bible helps us to know that unforeseen does befall..
the good and the bad, the young and the old and God doesn't cause it at all.
It all goes back to Eden when Adam and Eve broke God's laws,
they lost perfection for all of us, so we suffer at times without cause.

But this is not God's will for us, he hates when we're crushed or deceased..
he wants us to live forever in perfect health and peace.
That day is coming very soon when God will bring back to life
those struck down by the unforeseen yes --all those who suffered strife.
So never blame our loving God for all the misery..
read Ecclesiastes 9 verse eleven --and that truth will set you free!
